A Rose is a Rose by Dominique Ropion is a complex floral fragrance. A citrus breath pierced by spicy notes of cumin, saffron, and pink pepper carries the green, slightly fruity whisper of blue chamomile, destined to elevate the floral bouquet that is about to unfold. Here, we find the Taif rose in its starry guise, a fantastical rose harbouring countless magical artifices (Bulgarian rose and Turkish rose through different types of extraction), velvety with iris, concrete and a powdery flavour, wrapped in floral lactones. With its warm spices accompanied by a masterful dose of oud, the rose becomes more animalistic, entwined with leathery vanilla, daring a tenacious luxury. A reimagined dream of the East, floating in weightlessness.
